This site is to share my experience and interests in amateur radio.

I received my Technician Licence in 2010, using an outdated manual to study, and studied real hard and got my General License in 2011. Before I got real busy starting and running my own business, I did some ham satellite tracking and listening, made my "go-kit", started learning Morse code, built some antennas, participated in ARES, went to a field day, and took turns doing net control with a local ERC net.

I continued to participate as net control every couple months with a larger multi district ERC net and provide radio support at the the third largest parade in the US yearly, during the time I was super busy.

I fulfilled my intention, goals and dream with my business and in 2017 I went back to my technical and educational experience and got a job building command and control systems for the military, massive "go kits" :).

Currently I am setting up an FT-50R that I got from my dad, studying Morse code (struggling to to receive at 10 wpm character speed with 5 wpm spacing), learning to use the Yaesu  FT-991 that I inherited when my awesome neighbor passed away, and getting excited about getting more involved in the hobby and service opportunities.

I found it extremely useful to create a resume or CV (Curriculum Vitae (what ever that means) website, when I started looking for employment in 2016. I was able to utilize the format to detail my experience and even found and linked videos from places where I had worked. It was easy to make it available to potential employers that wanted more info than my one page resume. This site is kind of a CV of my amateur radio experience and interests.
